Privacy
Last updated 2026-09-17.
This notice covers this website — the pages you are reading now. Intake, identification, insurance and care records are handled in a separate secure portal with its own notice and its own agreements. Nothing you do on this website touches those records.
What this website collects
Only what you type into one of the four forms: a name if you give one, a phone number or email address if you give one, and your message. We also store which page the form was sent from, and the date and time.
Please do not send health information through this website. We ask you not to put medical details, insurance numbers or dates of birth — yours or anybody else's — into a form here. If it concerns somebody's care, call 619-972-9633 instead.
What we do with it
We read it and we reply to it. That is all. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anybody outside Seed & Shelter and the people who run our services with us, and we do not add you to a mailing list. If you tell us about somebody else so that we can reach them, we do not tell them who told us.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising, and does not load anything from a social network. There is no tracking to opt out of, because there is none to begin with.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Messages are stored in a database held for Seed & Shelter by its technology provider, Maxify Technologies, and are visible only to staff with a password. We keep a message for as long as it is useful to the work it concerns, and delete it when it is not.
Asking us to delete something
Call 619-972-9633 or write to info@seedshelter.org and ask. You do not need a reason and it will not affect any help you are receiving.
Children
This website is not aimed at children and the forms are not designed for them. Young people who need help should call or walk in, and will be helped.
Changes
